Lea & Francis manufactured motorcycles from 1912 till 1924, using JAP and MAG engines. It is known that about 1500 machines had been produced, of which only about 20 are believed to have survived.

This 1923 Lea-Francis is fitted with quality components, as the interesting Swiss made 592 cc 2 cylinder V-twin M.A.G. engine, three speed Sturmey Archer gearbox and Brampton Biflex front forks.
Further equipments include Amac carburettor, BTH magneto ignition, Brooks pan saddle and complete acetylene lighting set with a rare British made "Bobjon" headlamp.

Lubrication of the engine is provided by an Enots oil drip-feed system, braking is concluded through dummy rim type brakes.

Increasing the speciality of this early vintage motorcycle, the Lea-Francis still has its old British green cardboard logbook.
