The Ariel Red Hunter is a high-class sports motorcycle from the 1930-s, the 'Red Hunter' is one of the most renowned names in the range of British sports bikes from that era.
This Red Hunter (with correct engine and frame numbers for production year 1937) has been restored to high standards overall, it runs and rides fine with much power, fitted with a foot controlled Burman gearbox. It is a joy to ride this motorcycle, this Ariel has been much enjoyed on several vintage rallys and tours.
Equipments include Lucas electric lighting system, Amal carburettor, Lucas Altette horn, toolbox and battery carrier. Interesting feature is the instruments panel on the tank, including Smiths P.A. 100 mph speedometer, Eureka oil pressure gauge and brass Lucas panel light.
Video about the Ariel running and being ridden, on request.
