This 1939 Ariel single was discovered in a cellar where it had been stored for over 30 years.
Through the last owner, the Ariel became totally rebuilt and mechanically overhauled, but its authentic appearance remained preserved.
The fuel tank still wears its original chrome plating with the original red paintwork and gold pen striping, the mudguards have their old black finish as well.
The machine is equipped with Lucas magdyno, 8 inch Lucas headlamp, rearlamp, Altette horn, and toolbox. Interesting features include the beautiful tank panel, with the highly valuable Smiths P.A. speedometer and brass Lucas panel light.
This highly original prewar Ariel has correct engine and frame numbers for the year 1939.
