We offer this rare 1919 Blackburne motorcycle on behalf of its current owner.
This vintage machine is a nice older restoration, it is fitted with a sought-after 500 cc side valve Blackburne engine with a large outside flywheel. The fuel tank of this Blackburne has been painted authentically, with golden pinstriping and also with a hand painted "Blackburne" sign.
Further quality components include Sturmey Archer gearbox, Brampton Biflex front forks, Brown & Barlow brass carburettor and a pan type leather covered saddle. As a period accessory, an acetylene headlamp with generator is mounted on the handlebar as well.
Lubrication of the engine is provided by a Best & Lloyd oil drip-feed system, braking is concluded through a cycle type brake on the front wheel and a band brake at the rear.
