This 1915 Douglas is a very rare example of such an original veteran bike from the '10-s.
This early vintage machine comes with its original, first paint, has VMCC registered matching numbers and it is excellently equipped with a complete Stewart speedometer set, Lucas carbide lamp system and also with an original Dunlop spare belt.
First registered on the 21st of January 1915 this early vintage machine was in the hands of the last Norfolk owner since June 1963 when he paid the princely sum of £10 for it! The bike has a wonderful patina & has various paperwork in the form of letters researching its history. This lovely old machine comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
