This presented Harley-Davidson JD motorcycle combination is a nicely patinated older restoration, in a very good running and rideable condition. The machine has been regularly ridden on several vintage tours and rallies by its previous owner.
This top of the range vintage Harley-Davidson is fitted with the sought after and powerful 1200 cc inlet over exhaust V-twin engine (which was the biggest cylinder capacity at Harley-Davidson in the 1920's) and a three speed transmission with foot clutch and hand gear change lever.
Further equipments include complete electric lighting system (with hard to find original switchbox and headlamp), Bosch electric horn, tool- and battery boxes. There is a characteristic American make "Majestic" tandem rear seat fitted as well, which matches really well with the old leather covered driver saddle.
The sidecar, which has been fitted long time ago to this Harley-Davidson JD is also an American manufactured example with a really attractive passenger seat and an optional, period wind-screen - which could be ordered as an accessory at that time.
