This beautiful and very sporty German NSU OSL 501 was restored in Germany to a high standard.
It is fitted with a four speed foot controlled gearbox, Amal carburettor and Bosch magdyno.
Equipments include electric headlamp and taillight, in headlight inegrated Veigel speedometer, toolboxes and battery holder, hand pump.
Interesting features of this bike are the cylinder head with open valves and hairpin valve springs, and the attractive chrome plated petrol tank.
The NSU OSL 501 was a real sports motorcycle in its time, the 500cc OHV twin-port engine has plenty of power.
The NSU OSL runs and rides well, videos on request.
